About Us
Hi! I’m Sarah, the face (and hair!) behind “Care About Your Hair”. I’d like to introduce myself and let you know a little bit more about me and the reasons I started this website.
I’ve been fascinated by hair care for as long as I can remember. I can recall sneaking into my mum’s room, climbing onto her dresser and spraying myself with her hairspray when I was just a toddler. She was not happy!
As I grew older, I became fascinated by trying different styles, and playing with any hair products I could afford. As much as I loved hair and fashion, I was also a bit of a science nerd in school, and through studying chemistry I started to learn about the science behind hair care and hair products.
These days I spend my days as a legal secretary, but I still love getting dressed up for the evening any chance I can and that means making sure my hair looks perfect – or at least interesting! 
Naturally, my hair is a chestnut brown colour, and I try to avoid too much dying or bleaching these days to keep it healthy, but over the years I’ve been blonde, redhead, and even green in my teen years! That means I’ve picked up some tips along the way and found the styles that work different cuts and colours.
